As well as supplying additives and agents for increasing viscosity, Aubin have developed a suite of breakers to decrease the viscosity of fluids and gels. This allows maximum return of fracturing fluids to the surface and to minimise the unwanted return of proppant.
Breakers are available for each of the gelling systems in Aubin's chemical portfolio including; FBR-02, FBR-02E, FBR-10, FBR-10E and FEB-100. The portfolio includes live oxidative breakers, encapsulated breakers and enzyme breakers. These work over a range of temperatures to suite the fracturing fluid conditions.
